- $5 withdrawal fee per request from the USD account (Bronze, Silver, Gold tiers) — waived entirely at Platinum and above
- $0 fee when withdrawing via eToro Money or from a local currency account, regardless of tier
- 0.5% FX conversion fee on non-USD withdrawals — same as deposits; waived at Diamond tier ($250k+ equity)
- Minimum withdrawal: $30 from USD account; no minimum from local currency accounts
- Processing time: instant via eToro Money; up to 2 business days for e-wallets; up to 5 business days for cards and bank transfers
- US clients pay $0 withdrawal fees across all tiers
eToro withdrawals work, but they are neither fast nor free. The broker charges a $5 fee per request (waived at Platinum tier and above), takes 1–7 business days to deliver funds depending on the method, and applies a 0.5% FX conversion fee on every non-USD withdrawal. The one exception is eToro Money — UK and EU clients who withdraw through it receive their funds instantly at no cost.
In this guide, you will find the step-by-step withdrawal process, all eight withdrawal methods with processing times, the full fee structure by eToro Club tier, minimum withdrawal amounts, and the most common reasons withdrawals get blocked. Before you withdraw, know two things: eToro requires you to withdraw to the same payment method you deposited with, and your account must be fully verified before any withdrawal is processed.
How to Withdraw Money from eToro
eToro withdrawals take four steps from the Withdraw Funds menu and are processed within 1–2 business days. There are two withdrawal paths depending on where your funds are held: your USD investment account or your local currency account.
Withdrawing from Your USD Account
- Click “Withdraw Funds” in the left-hand menu (desktop) or bottom menu (mobile app).
- Choose USD account and click Continue. Enter the amount you want to withdraw and click Next.
- Select your payment method. eToro pre-selects your default method. Click “Other payment options” to choose a different method you have previously deposited with, or add a new one. If the withdrawal is converted to another currency, the estimated exchange rate and net amount are displayed.
- Click Submit. eToro processes the request and sends the funds to your selected payment method.
Withdrawing from Your Local Currency Account
If you have a local currency account (GBP, EUR, AUD, or DKK — available in the UK, EU, and Australia), you can withdraw directly to your bank in your own currency with no withdrawal fee and no FX conversion cost.
- Go to the Wallet tab (sidebar on desktop, bottom menu on mobile).
- Select your local currency account.
- Click “Send Payment.”
- Choose your bank account or add it as a new payee.
- Enter the amount and reference (what the payment is for).
- Review and confirm. Most payments process immediately; some take up to 3 business days.
eToro Withdrawal Methods
eToro sends withdrawals to the same payment method you used to deposit — you cannot withdraw to a method you have never deposited with. Eight methods support withdrawals; Trustly is the only deposit method that does not.

PayPal withdrawals are available only if you deposited via PayPal. Neteller and Skrill are subject to the same country restrictions as deposits (not supported in the UK and most EU countries). For the full list of deposit method restrictions, see our eToro Deposit guide.
Withdrawal Processing Time
eToro processes withdrawal requests within 1–2 business days, after which funds take instant to 5 additional business days to reach your account depending on the payment method. Total time from request to funds received ranges from instant (eToro Money) to up to 7 business days (cards and bank transfers).
| Method | eToro Processing | Funds Arrival | Total Expected Time |
|---|---|---|---|
| eToro Money | Instant* | Instant | Instant |
| PayPal | 1–2 business days | Same day | 1–2 business days |
| Neteller | 1–2 business days | Same day | 1–2 business days |
| Skrill | 1–2 business days | Same day | 1–2 business days |
| iDEAL | 1–2 business days | Same day | 1–2 business days |
| Przelewy24 | 1–2 business days | Same day | 1–2 business days |
| Credit/Debit Card | 1–2 business days | Up to 5 business days | Up to 7 business days |
| Bank Transfer | 1–2 business days | Up to 5 business days | Up to 7 business days |
*eToro Money withdrawals are usually instant. For security reasons, some transfers may be processed on the next business day.
eToro sends an email confirming your withdrawal status within 2 business days of the request. Once processing is complete, a second email confirms the payment method used and the date funds were sent. You can also track withdrawal status in real time from the Withdraw Funds tab in your account.
eToro Withdrawal Fees
eToro charges a $5 flat fee per withdrawal from the USD investment account for Bronze, Silver, and Gold tier clients, but waives it entirely at Platinum tier and above. Withdrawals via eToro Money or from a local currency account are free regardless of tier.
| eToro Club Tier | USD Account Withdrawal Fee | eToro Money / Local Currency |
|---|---|---|
| Bronze | $5 | $0 |
| Silver | $5 | $0 |
| Gold | $5 | $0 |
| Platinum | $0 (waived) | $0 |
| Platinum+ | $0 (waived) | $0 |
| Diamond | $0 (waived) | $0 |
US clients pay no withdrawal fee at any tier level.
FX Conversion Fee on Withdrawals
In addition to the withdrawal fee, eToro applies a 0.5% FX conversion fee on any withdrawal sent in a currency other than USD. This is the same fee charged on deposits. Since eToro’s investment account operates in USD, every non-US client withdrawing to a local bank account pays this fee unless they qualify for a discount.
| eToro Club Tier | FX Conversion Fee |
|---|---|
| Bronze / Silver / Gold | 0.5% |
| Platinum / Platinum+ | 0.25% |
| Diamond | 0% (exempt) |
These rates are approximate for major currencies (EUR, GBP). The actual conversion fee varies by currency, payment method, and region. Club tier discounts apply primarily to bank transfers and local currency account conversions. For the complete schedule, see our eToro Fees guide.
You may also be charged by your receiving bank or intermediary bank, particularly on international wire transfers. These are not eToro fees.

Minimum Withdrawal
The minimum withdrawal from eToro’s USD account is $30. Local currency accounts (GBP, EUR, AUD, DKK) have no minimum withdrawal amount.
The $30 minimum applies to the withdrawal amount before the $5 fee is deducted. If you request a $30 withdrawal, eToro deducts $5, and you receive $25 (plus any FX conversion costs). To receive $30 net, request $35.
You can only withdraw funds in your available balance — money currently invested in open positions cannot be withdrawn until those positions are closed. Check your available balance in the Wallet tab before requesting a withdrawal.
Can I Cancel an eToro Withdrawal?
Yes — eToro allows you to cancel a pending withdrawal request before it reaches “In Process” status. Cancelled funds and the $5 fee return to your account immediately.
- Go to the Withdraw Funds tab in your eToro account.
- Click “Click Here” in the pop-up to view your withdrawal history.
- Click the “Reverse” button next to the pending withdrawal request.
- Confirm the cancellation. All funds, including the withdrawal fee, are returned to your account balance immediately.
Common eToro Withdrawal Problems
The most common eToro withdrawal problems are insufficient available balance, unverified accounts, expired payment methods, and missing withdrawal options — all identifiable and fixable before you submit your request.
Insufficient Available Balance
Only funds in your available balance can be withdrawn. Money invested in open positions is not withdrawable until those positions are closed. If your total balance shows $1,000 but $800 is in open trades, your available balance is $200 — and after the $5 fee, you can withdraw up to $195. Check the Wallet tab for your exact available balance before requesting a withdrawal.
Account Not Verified
eToro requires full identity verification before processing any withdrawal. If your account shows missing documents or a restriction, withdrawals are blocked until the issue is resolved. Log into your eToro account, go to your Verification Centre (Settings → Profile) to check what is needed. Upload your ID and proof of residence as soon as you open your account — not when you need to withdraw.
Payment Method Expired or Invalid
If the card or bank account you deposited with has expired, been cancelled, or is no longer active, it may not appear as a withdrawal option. eToro requires withdrawal to the same method used for deposit (anti-money-laundering policy). If your original method is no longer available, contact eToro support to arrange an alternative — typically a bank transfer.
Card Withdrawal Timeframe Expired
Credit and debit cards are available for withdrawal only within a certain timeframe after the original deposit. If that window has passed, the card no longer appears as a withdrawal option. In this case, withdraw via bank transfer or another available method shown in the withdrawal form.
Funds Not Arriving After Processing
If eToro has confirmed processing but the funds have not appeared in your bank or e-wallet:
- Check the processing email from eToro — it confirms the payment method and date funds were sent.
- Allow the full processing window: up to 2 business days for e-wallets, up to 5 business days for cards and bank transfers, up to 10 business days in rare cases.
- If still missing, contact eToro support. Provide a bank statement showing incoming and outgoing transactions from the date the withdrawal was processed until the date you are contacting them, with your name and payment method details visible.
Conclusion
eToro withdrawals cost $5 per request for most users and take 1–7 business days depending on the method — or are free and instant via eToro Money (UK/EU only). The real total cost includes the 0.5% FX conversion fee on every non-USD withdrawal, which adds up over multiple transactions.
The fastest and cheapest way to withdraw depends on where you are:
- UK/EU/Australia: Withdraw via your local currency account — no $5 fee, no FX conversion on same-currency transfers, and most payments process immediately.
- Everyone else (including South Africa): Use an e-wallet (PayPal, Skrill, Neteller) if available for your account — up to 2 business days and no bank intermediary fees. If not available, bank transfer or card withdrawal works but takes up to 5–7 business days.
- Before your first withdrawal: Complete KYC verification, confirm your payment method is active and in your name, and close any positions you need to free up as available balance.
